When we read the newspapers or watch the news media from around the world, it gives a very clear message of chaos and fear. wars and rumors of war between nations and ethnic groups. We are constantly told that we are under the threat of a pending economic doom national and internationally. We could go on and on concerning all the bad news given to us on a continual basis through the various media outlets. We draw the conclusion that good news is not news at all when the world is concerned. The world system is not based on faith and God's Word but in fear and manipulation.

As I travel the world preaching the Gospel and stirring revival, I have drawn the conclusion that there truly are two kingdoms at work in this world. The kingdom of darkness and the Kingdom of God. These two kingdoms are contrary in all aspects. I witness how fear and manipulation is working in the world. However in all the chaos and fear the Kingdom of God is at work in spite of it. The Holy Spirit is working powerfully amongst the Church where a thirst for His Presence is found.

As the Church we are in this world but not part of it. The question then we should be asking is, what is God doing? The answer to this question is where life and purpose is found. In Matthew 6:9 we read “Pray, then, in this way:

"Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven." God's will demonstrated on the earth is the Kingdom of God. The will and the demonstration of God's Kingdom always supersedes the things of the world. We should be living and making decisions based on what God is doing and not live and plan according to the pressures of what is happening in the world. Choose faith, hope and love which is found in what God is saying and doing. God's Word and the leading of the Holy Spirit is where true life is found.

We can put it like this, what news are you reading and believing...the world news or Heavens news?

Paul, the Apostle says in Colossians 3:1-4, says, "Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory."

And, in Romans 8:1-2, "Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death."
